LOVE POEM: Extract of the week!

Hi Sweet,
The thoughts of you keeps my heart warm...!

What would I not do for love of you, my dearest!
The knights of old were better off;
they could go through fire or slay dragons to win their ladies,
but what can I?
for time gives no such fortune.

For 'we' of today have to content ourselves with the more prosaic ways to your delight.

After all, though, we can love, knights or no knights;
and so, as ever, only the times change,
not men's hearts...

I love you, I love u, my dearest;
I can not reiterate it too often;
I can never express it as much as I feel it.

I recognize you in all the beauty that surrounds me;
in form, in colour, in nature, in harmonious sound:
all of these mean 'you' to me.
You are superior to all.
I see and admire 'you' in all!

You are not only the solar spectrum with the seven luminous colours,
but the sun himself, that illumines, warms, and revivifies!

This is what you are, and...

I am the lowly man that adores you
